A document is one invoice, payment receipt, credit note or receipt reversal from CargoWise. Transitive shows each document with its status, its files and its timeline.

Document types

Some documents refer to other documents:
  • A payment receipt refers to the invoices that it pays.
  • A credit note refers to the invoice that it credits.
  • A receipt reversal refers to the receipt that it reverses.
If a related document has no CFDI, the document waits. If CargoWise did not send the related document, the status shows that it is missing. Refer to Missing and not received documents.

CFDIs from a different system

In some conditions, a document has a CFDI from a different system, for example from CargoWise. Transitive records that CFDI and does not stamp a second one. The status is Stamped in CargoWise. Transitive cannot cancel that CFDI.

New data from CargoWise

CargoWise can send a document again with new data. The result depends on the status of the current version:
  • Not stamped yet (for example Queued, Waiting or Failed): the new data replaces the old data. Transitive examines the document again and stamps it automatically.
  • Stamped, cancelling or cancelled: the stamped CFDI does not change. The timeline shows CargoWise sent new data. To use the new data, replace the CFDI. Or cancel the CFDI and stamp the document again.
New data does not start a stamp while the result of an earlier stamp is unknown. This rule prevents a second CFDI.
