# Reversal does not match its receipt

> The receipt reversal does not agree with its receipt.

Code `reversal_target_unmatched`. The status is **Failed**.

> The receipt that this reversal names does not match it: Cancellation amount does not match the original receipt. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document.

## What it means

The currency, the amount, the debtor RFC and the payment reference of a reversal must agree with the receipt. The receipt is the document that the reversal cancels. Refer to [Receipt reversals](/guides/receipt-reversals).
