# Debtor tax regime was rejected

> The tax regime of the debtor does not agree with the RFC at the SAT.

Code `recipient_tax_regime_rejected`. The status is **Failed**.

> CargoWise says the debtor's tax regime (Régimen fiscal) is 612. It must be a regime that the SAT has for the debtor's RFC and person type. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

In CFDI 4.0, the tax regime of the receiver must be a regime that the SAT has for its RFC. The regime must also agree with the type of person: an individual or a company. The timeline shows the code and the message from the provider.

## How to correct it

Compare the tax regime of the debtor in CargoWise with the tax certificate (Constancia de Situación Fiscal) of the debtor.
