# Receipt has more than one debtor

> The receipt names more than one debtor.

Code `receipt_debtor_ambiguous`. The status is **Failed**.

> CargoWise names more than one debtor on this receipt (AAA010101AAA, BBB010101BBB). It must name one. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

A <Tooltip tip="Payment complement. A CFDI that records a payment on a PPD invoice.">REP</Tooltip> has one receiver. The lines of this receipt name more than one debtor. Make one receipt for each debtor.
