# Too many payment method fields

> CargoWise gives too many payment method fields for the invoice.

Code `payment_method_fields_exceeded`. The status is **Failed**.

> CargoWise gives this invoice 33 payment method fields. Transitive reads at most 32. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

Transitive reads a limited number of custom fields to find the payment method. This invoice has more fields than that limit. Remove the fields that you do not use.
