# Payment is not applied to any invoice

> The payment is not applied to an invoice that can get a payment complement.

Code `payment_has_no_applications`. The status is **Failed**.

> No line of this receipt applies an amount to an invoice that can receive a payment complement. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

A <Tooltip tip="Payment complement. A CFDI that records a payment on a PPD invoice.">REP</Tooltip> must refer to <Tooltip tip="Payment method for an invoice that the customer pays later or in parts.">PPD</Tooltip> invoices with a valid CFDI. No line of this receipt applies an amount to such an invoice.
