# Payment cannot be converted to the invoice currency

> A payment cannot be converted into the currency of its invoice.

Code `payment_conversion_unresolved`. The status is **Failed**.

> This payment is in USD and INV-1042 is in MXN, but CargoWise gives no rate between them. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

A <Tooltip tip="Payment complement. A CFDI that records a payment on a PPD invoice.">REP</Tooltip> that pays an invoice in a different currency must give the conversion between the two currencies (EquivalenciaDR). CargoWise gives no conversion that Transitive can use.
