# Invoice balance cannot be proven

> Transitive cannot prove the balance of an invoice.

Code `parent_balance_evidence_missing`. The status is **Failed**.

> Transitive has no payment history that proves the balance of INV-1042, and CargoWise sends no OutstandingAmount for it. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

Transitive needs the balance of the invoice before the payment. The payment history does not prove it, and the receipt has no OutstandingAmount for the invoice.
