# Invoice subtotal does not match its lines

> The subtotal of an invoice is not equal to the sum of its lines.

Code `income_subtotal_mismatch`. The status is **Failed**.

> CargoWise says the subtotal (OSExGSTVATAmount) is 1000.00 MXN. The lines add up to 990.00 MXN. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

The subtotal of a CFDI is the sum of its lines before taxes. CargoWise gives the subtotal in OSExGSTVATAmount. Transitive adds the lines and gets a different amount. A line amount or the subtotal is incorrect.
