# Credit note is almost its invoice total

> The credit note is almost equal to its invoice total.

Code `credit_within_rounding_of_parent`. The status is **Failed**.

> CargoWise says the credit note is 999.99 MXN. INV-1042 is 1000.00 MXN. It must be the full total or clearly less. Fix it in CargoWise and resend the document, or stamp it by hand.

## What it means

The difference is smaller than a rounding difference. Thus, Transitive cannot know if the credit note settles all of the invoice. If it settles all of the invoice, make the two amounts equal. Then Transitive cancels the invoice instead of a credit CFDI. Refer to [Credit notes](/guides/credit-notes).
