# reversal_target_unmatched

> The receipt reversal does not agree with its receipt.

Group: [Receipt reversals](/reference/failures/overview#receipt-reversals). The status is **Failed**.

> **Reversal does not match its receipt** `reversal_target_unmatched`
>
> The receipt that this reversal names does not match it: Cancellation amount does not match the original receipt.

## What it means

The currency, the amount, the debtor RFC and the payment reference of a reversal must agree with the receipt. The receipt is the document that the reversal cancels. Refer to [Receipt reversals](/guides/receipt-reversals).

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again.
