# recipient_data_missing

> CargoWise did not send a value that the debtor needs.

Group: [SAT and stamping provider](/reference/failures/overview#sat-and-stamping-provider). The status is **Failed**.

> **Debtor data is missing** `recipient_data_missing`
>
> CargoWise has no postal code for the debtor.

## What it means

A CFDI 4.0 needs the RFC, the legal name, the postal code and the tax regime of the receiver. It also needs a CFDI use. CargoWise sent one of these values empty, so the stamping provider refused the document. The timeline shows the code and the message from the provider.

## Cases

### The legal name is empty

> CargoWise has no legal name for the debtor.

The debtor has no legal name in CargoWise.

### The tax regime is empty

> CargoWise has no tax regime (Régimen fiscal) for the debtor.

The debtor has no tax regime (Régimen fiscal) in CargoWise.

## How to correct it

Add the missing value to the debtor in CargoWise. Use the tax certificate (Constancia de Situación Fiscal) of the debtor. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
