# processing_failed

> Transitive cannot process the document.

Group: [Transitive processing](/reference/failures/overview#transitive-processing). The status is **Failed**.

> **Document could not be processed** `processing_failed`

> Transitive could not process this document. Transitive support knows about this problem and will correct it.

## What it means

A step in Transitive failed after all the attempts. When CargoWise sends new data for the document, Transitive starts again.

## How to correct it

If you must have the CFDI now, stamp the document by hand.
