# payment_conversion_unresolved

> A payment cannot be converted into the currency of its invoice.

Group: [Currency and exchange rates](/reference/failures/overview#currency-and-exchange-rates). The status is **Failed**.

> **Payment cannot be converted to the invoice currency** `payment_conversion_unresolved`
>
> This payment is in USD and INV-1042 is in MXN, but CargoWise gives no rate between them.

## What it means

A <Tooltip tip="Payment complement. A CFDI that records a payment on a PPD invoice.">REP</Tooltip> that pays an invoice in a different currency must give the conversion between the two currencies (EquivalenciaDR). CargoWise gives no conversion that Transitive can use.

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
