# income_vat_total_mismatch

> The VAT of an invoice is not equal to the VAT of its lines.

> **Invoice VAT does not match its lines** `income_vat_total_mismatch`

> CargoWise says the VAT (OSGSTVATAmount) is 160.00 MXN. The VAT of the lines adds up to 158.40 MXN.

## What it means

CargoWise gives the VAT of the invoice in OSGSTVATAmount. Transitive adds the VAT of each line and gets a different amount. A line tax or the invoice VAT is incorrect.

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
