# exchange_rate_mismatch

> The exchange rate does not convert the foreign total into the local total.

> **Exchange rate does not match the totals** `exchange_rate_mismatch`

> CargoWise says the exchange rate is 17.5. At that rate, 1000.00 USD does not equal the local total of 17000.00 MXN.

## What it means

A CFDI in a foreign currency must have its exchange rate. The rate that CargoWise gives does not change the foreign total into the local total. The rate or one of the totals is incorrect.

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
