# credit_within_rounding_of_parent

> The credit note is almost equal to its invoice total.

> CargoWise says the credit note is 999.99 MXN. INV-1042 is 1000.00 MXN. It must be the full total or clearly less.

## What it means

The difference is smaller than a rounding difference. Thus, Transitive cannot know if the credit note settles all of the invoice. If it settles all of the invoice, make the two amounts equal. Then Transitive does not stamp the credit note. Refer to [Credit notes](/guides/credit-notes).

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
