# credit_parent_ambiguous

> The credit note refers to more than one invoice.

## What it means

A credit note credits one invoice. CargoWise links it to more than one invoice. Make one credit note for each invoice. Refer to [Credit notes](/guides/credit-notes).

## How to correct it

Correct the data in CargoWise. Then send the document again, or stamp it by hand.
