# cancellation_not_completed

> A cancellation request did not cancel the CFDI. The CFDI stays valid.

It shows on the timeline. When the cancellation was for this document, the status changes to **Cancellation didn't go through**.

> The receiver rejected the cancellation. The CFDI is still valid.

## What it means

The message gives the cause. When this document asked to cancel a different document, for example a replacement that cancels its original, the message names that document.

## Causes

### Receiver rejected

> The receiver rejected the cancellation. The CFDI is still valid.

* **What to do:** Speak to the receiver. When the receiver agrees, cancel the CFDI again.

### No answer

> The receiver did not answer the repeated request (Plazo vencido). The CFDI is still valid.

* **What to do:** Speak to the receiver. Then cancel the CFDI again.

### Refused

> The stamping provider refused the request. The CFDI is still valid.

* **What to do:** The timeline shows the answer of the stamping provider. Correct the cause, for example the motive or the replacement. Then cancel the CFDI again.

### Replacement cancelled

> The replacement CFDI was cancelled before Transitive submitted this cancellation. The CFDI is still valid.

* **What to do:** A cancellation with motive 01 needs a valid replacement. Stamp a new replacement. Then cancel the original CFDI again.

### Not received

> Transitive asked to cancel invoice INV-1042. CargoWise did not send that document. That document keeps its CFDI.

* **What to do:** Send the related document from CargoWise.

### Not stamped

> Transitive asked to cancel invoice INV-1042. That document has no CFDI. That document keeps its CFDI.

* **What to do:** No action is necessary. A document without a CFDI has nothing to cancel.

### Not issued by Transitive

> Transitive asked to cancel invoice INV-1042. Transitive did not issue its CFDI. That document keeps its CFDI.

* **What to do:** Cancel the CFDI in the system that stamped it.

### More than one valid CFDI

> Transitive asked to cancel invoice INV-1042. That document has more than one valid CFDI. That document keeps its CFDI.

* **What to do:** Open the related document. Find the CFDI that must not exist, and cancel it. Then cancel the related document again.
