# Receipt reversals

> When CargoWise reverses a payment receipt, Transitive cancels its payment complement with motive 03.

A receipt reversal undoes a payment receipt in CargoWise. A reversal does not get a CFDI. Transitive applies the reversal to the receipt.

## Results

When the receipt has a payment complement, Transitive cancels it with motive 03. During the cancellation, the receipt shows **Waiting for response**.

## If the cancellation does not complete

The receipt shows **Cancellation didn't go through**. The reversal shows **The related document was not cancelled**.

## While the receipt is busy

If the receipt has a cancellation open or a stamp in progress, the reversal waits. Transitive sends the request again when the receipt is available.
