# Missing and not received

> What to do when CargoWise did not send a document that another document refers to.

A payment refers to its invoices. A credit note refers to its invoice. If CargoWise did not send a related document, Transitive shows it.

## Two views of one problem

| Status | Shows on | Meaning |
| - | - | - |
| **Related document missing** | The document that refers to it | CargoWise did not send an invoice or a credit note. |
| **Earlier payment missing** | The payment that refers to it | CargoWise did not send an earlier payment on the same invoice. |
| **Not received** | An entry for the missing document | Another document refers to it, but CargoWise did not send it. |

**Not received** entries have a special filter in the document list.

## Send the missing document

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find the missing document">
    Open the **Not received** filter in the document list. Each entry shows the CargoWise reference
    of a missing document.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send it from CargoWise">Send the missing document from CargoWise.</Step>

  <Step title="Read the result">
    The **Not received** entry changes to the document that CargoWise sent. The document that waited
    continues automatically.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If you cannot send the missing document, you can stamp the document that waits by hand.

## Related documents without a CFDI

In some conditions, CargoWise sent the related document, but it has no CFDI. Then the status is **Waiting for related documents**, not **Missing**. No action is necessary. The document continues when the related document is stamped.

## Not received entries

You cannot do an action on a **Not received** entry. If a different system stamped the missing document, the entry changes to **Stamped in CargoWise**.
