# Check what CargoWise sent

> Use the Events page to see each message that CargoWise sent, and what Transitive did with it.

The **Events** page lists each message that CargoWise sent to Transitive. Use it to find out if a document arrived, and why a message did not become a document.

## Open the page

Select **Events** in the sidebar.

## The list

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Timestamp** | When Transitive received the message (Mexico City time). |
| **Key** | The document number from CargoWise. |
| **Status** | The result for the message. |
| **Event** | The kind of message. |
| **Message** | The reason, when the message did not become a document. |
| **Size** | The size of the message. |

The newest message is at the top. Use **Filter events** to find a message by its text.

The **Live** switch refreshes the list by itself. To refresh by hand, select **Refresh events**.

## Statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **OK** | Transitive used the message. |
| **Processing** | Transitive received the message and has not finished. |
| **Duplicate** | Transitive already has this exact message. |
| **Stale** | Transitive did not use the message. It is older than the data that Transitive has. |
| **Quarantined** | Transitive kept the message and created no document. |
| **Failed** | Transitive could not receive the message. |

To find the reason in the **Message** column, refer to [Event codes](/reference/events/overview).

## Open a message

Select a row to open the event. The event shows:

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Timing** | How long after receipt each step finished. |
| **Pipeline** | Each step that Transitive did (for example **Source archive** and **Stamping**) and its result. |
| **Documents** | The documents in the message, with their document numbers. |
| **Delivery** | Which ingress credential posted the message, the company that Transitive found, and a fingerprint of the content. |

Select **Download source XML** to get the message exactly as CargoWise sent it.

## Find a missing document

    If you find the message, read its status and message. Correct the cause.

  <Step title="If you find nothing">
    CargoWise did not send the document. Send it from CargoWise.
